Game recap denver vs. la lakers game 6
Nuggets try to fore a game 7 but did not succeed lets see if they followed most of my keys to victories.
-Carmelo Anthony must play strong from start to finish
NO, Carmelo did not play great consistently once in a while he did JR. Smith had to do the work of him and himself.
-Need to keep basketball moving on the court
No, Lakers did not give up fast break points
-Must control tempo and their style most likely fast break, or transition
No for the most part played L.A tempo but sometimes got control of temp but loss it after L.A. timeout
-Make them jump shoot not get shots in the paint
No, the lakers got so many points in the paint from Lamar Odom, Pau gasol got so many points in the paint 20 and dished out pretty assists to get other players involved down low again more points in the paint
-Don't let players get into a rhythm in shots
No again, they did not rotate and let way to many drives, in the 2ND half they stopped the drives but Kobe Bryant started hitting jumpers
-DO NOT play 1 vs. 1 share the ball
Well OK,they shared and they played one on one but JR. Smith tried to take control but did not get it.
-Minimize turnovers
No they had many turnovers
-Keep Kobe off the ball and jump shooting
OK, Kobe drove in 1st half, but 2ND half they closed the lanes but the Kobe Bryant hit jumpers to close the game
-Limit fouls but play motor city 2004 defense
No, all i am gonna say is NO!!!
-limit Lamar Odom, and pau gasol on their shots
No, they got in the paint but when they did get pau trapped he gave out a pretty assist leading to another easy basket
-DO NOT give many offensive boards or second chance points
NO GAVE UP WAY TO MANY
-REBOUND THE BALL
yes they did defensively a Little and a little offensively
As you can see they did not play great from standing point of my keys of victorie
